Outdoor pursuits First Aid Course HSE Approved.
This 16 hour programme delivered over 2-days and covers a wide range of First Aid emergencies, participants will be able to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way if encountered on the hill, moor or crag. This course will give successful participants a qualification in Outdoor Pursuits First Aid that is HSE recognised. Suitable for all MLTUK award holders, such as ML, IML, SPA, CWA, MIC, MIA,BCU, BCA, CWMA, Sportleaders UK, MIDAS, MIAS.

High Altitude First Aid.
This is a 8 hour bolt-on that is suitable for persons who hold a valid in-date first aid qualification, such as our 16 hour outdoor pursuits first aid and has an interest in high altitude first aid. It looks specifically at altitude illness, and how to deal with this as well as other altitude related issues e.g. snow blindness, hydration, nutrition etc. Ideal for those going to the greater ranges. It is also a chance to brush up on practical casualty care and counts towards your CPD. This course is delivered by Wilderness Medics and Doctors with relevant experience of working at altitude.

First Aid at Work - Outdoor Environment.
It is a requirement of the Health & Safety law that employers should provide a safe and healthy environment for their employees. If the assessment of First Aid needs highlights the need for qualified First Aider's, then this course will provide you with suitable, highly trained personnel. The programme will give successful participants a qualification to the highest level of First Aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

This comprehensive 3-day course covers a wide range of First Aid emergencies, that is both HSE Approved and Recognised and will enable participants to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way. No previous experience is neccessary to join this course.
