Trekking Encounters are a team of experienced trekking and mountaineering professionals both from the UK and Nepal and we pride ourselves on our attention to detail and our personal service. We specialise in adventure trekking, climbing and mountaineering expeditions to the Nepal Himalaya. Trek to Everest Base Camp, climb trekking peaks like Island or Mera, join our major expeditions to Ama Dablam, Baruntse, Kangchenjunga, Cho Oyu, or the ultimate Mt Everest. Groups and clubs are most welcome.

Sustainable Eco-Tourism

We are dedicated to sustainable eco-tourism; we are committed to preserving our environment by conserving water, supporting the use of renewable resources and minimising the use of plastic bottles, canned food and other waste products. We supply all our clients with safe and purified water instead of bottled water. We send our guides and porters to training programmes and eco-workshops throughout Nepal, which enables them to understand the importance of the environment We are life members of KEEP (Kathmandu Environmental Educational Project).
